+SITE READ (c, 2, Tizdejavu–Missannalouise, by Storm Creek), dismissed at 21-1, bided his time near the back of the pack early as the pacesetters blazed along through early splits of :22.78 and :46.40. Nudged a bit closer by Jose Lezcano on the backstretch, the bay exploded from between horses in the lane and sailed clear to win by an impressive 4 1/2 lengths over Life Imitates Art (More Than Ready). The winner is a half to Little Jerry (Candy Ride {Arg}), SP, $223,158; and his dam produced a colt my Midnight Lute this term. The last runner Bill Mott both owned and trained was Roadster (Street Cry {Ire}), a colt Mott picked up midway through his 3-year-old season and who did not win any of his six starts for the Hall of Famer.
