ONLY MINE (IRE) (f, 2, Pour Moi {Ire}–Truly Mine {Ire} SW & GSP-Ire, $125,544}, by Rock of Gibraltar {Ire}), runner-up in the June 28 G3 Grangecon Stud S. at The Curragh last time, was sharpest from the gate and seized immediate control of this lesser spot. In command throughout, the 2-5 lock had all her rivals on the stretch entering the final quarter mile and was pushed out late to comfortably best Diamond Fields (Ire) (Fastnet Rock {Aus}) by 1 1/2 lengths. “She cruised, she did that very easily and is very good,” said trainer Joseph Murphy. “She’ll run in the [Aug. 22 G2] Debutante and [Sept. 13 G1] Moyglare [both at The Curragh] and is also in the [Sept. 26 G1] Cheveley Park S. [at Newmarket]. There are exciting times ahead with her.” The €80,000 GOFORB yearling becomes the first winner for her freshman sire (by Montjeu {Ire}). Lifetime Record: GSP-Ire, 3-1-1-0, $26,237.
