Just two lots after a filly by Raven’s Pass lit up the Goffs tote, a filly by the irrepressible Galileo (Ire) accounted for the third seven-figure transaction of the session and fourth of the sale overall when selling to Oliver St Lawrence Bloodstock for 1.05 million at Orby. Hip 434 was bred by Kirsten Rausing and was offered by Staffordstown. A Mar. 24 foal, the bay is the third foal out of Starlit Sands (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB), a Group 3 winner in France, Group 2-placed in England and Group 2-placed in Germany. Starlit Sands is a half-sister to Scandinavian champion Sea Dane (GB) (Danehill) and to Summer Night (GB) (Nashwan), the dam of four full black-type winners, including Songerie (GB) (Hernando {Fr}).
