HARD LABOR (Hard Spun) gets his career underway for Witham Thoroughbreds and trainer Ian Wilkes and is possessed of a solid win-early pedigree. The homebred gelding is a son of fellow Witham homebred Mea Domina (Dance Brightly), who ran with credit on the main track before becoming a Grade I winner on the grass later in her career. Second dam Madame Pandit (Wild Again) won three of her first four trips to the post and was a Grade III winner and Grade I-placed on the dirt in the latter stages of her career.
