Hall of Famer Bill Mott unveils the latest juvenile offspring of blue hen mare and MGISW millionaire Take Charge Lady (Dehere) in Hill ‘n’ Dale Equine Holdings’s CONQUERING (War Front). The bay filly is a half-sister to champion Will Take Charge (Unbridled’s Song), GISW millionaire Take Charge Indy (A.P. Indy) and the dam of recently retired champion Take Charge Brandi (Giant’s Causeway). Conquering enters off a pair of bullet works over the Saratoga training track, most recently breezing a best-of-22 half-mile in :48 1/5 Oct. 13. Godolphin Racing and trainer Tom Albertrani are represented by the coupled entry of Spinstress (Hard Spun) and Estelle (Distorted Humor). Spinstress, who makes her career bow in this spot, is out of a half-sister to champion Speightstown (Gone West), whose dam is Canadian champion Silken Cat (Storm Cat). Estelle makes her second attempt here after finishing fourth behind subsequent GI Frizette S. winner Nickname (Scat Daddy) on debut at Saratoga Sept. 2. The gray is out of SW & GISP Stage Luck (Unbridled’s Song), who is a daughter of MGISW Golden Ballet (MoscowBallet) and a half-sister to GI Belmont S. and GI Breeders’ Cup Classic winner Drosselmeyer (Distorted Humor). Charles Fipke homebred Verve’s Tale (Tale of Ekati) makes her first trip to the post for Barclay Tagg. A full sister to GI Preakness S. runner-up Tale of Verve, the bay hails from the family of GISWs Zoftig (Cozzene), Zo Impressive (Hard Spun) and Zaftig (Gone West).
