Trainer Todd Pletcher oversaw Keeneland works of several sets of his horses that included Breeders’ Cup contenders.

Undefeated GI Spinaway S. heroine Rachel’s Valentina (Bernardini) worked a half mile in :49.20. The Stonestreet homebred and ‘TDN Rising Star’ is being aimed at the GI Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies.

“She breezed very well, very typical of the way she goes,” Pletcher said. “The further she went, the stronger she got. Galloped out really well. Very happy with her. Looked good.”

After the renovation break, GI Acorn S. heroine and GI Breeders’ Cup Distaff-bound Curalina (Curlin) worked a half mile in company with multiple graded winner Race Day (Tapit) in :47.80 (video). Azar (Scat Daddy) (GI Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf) and Thrilled (Uncle Mo) (GI Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf) worked a half mile together in :48.60 (video).

“The horses seem to be settling in well and have been working well over the track,” Pletcher said. “Hopefully, that’s an advantage come race day.”
