Impressive on her first two starts at Vichy Aug. 4 and Marseille-Borely Aug. 31, Trixia turned provincial promise into black-type reality when extending her unbeaten record in similarly convincing fashion in the Listed Criterium de Lyon over this trip at Lyon-Parilly Sept. 24. Stalking the early pace in third, the bay moved smoothly to take command with 300 meters remaining and was quickly beyond recall from the slow-starting Jemayel for a snug pattern-race breakthrough.
