Casse Contingent Doing Well
Trainer Mark Casse’s stable of Breeders’ Cup runners, which included GI Breeders’ Cup Mile winner Tepin (Bernstein), GI Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf victress Catch a Glimpse (City Zip), GI Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf runner-up Airoforce (Colonel John) and Juvenile Turf fourth-place finisher Conquest Daddyo (Scat Daddy), were all reportedly doing well Sunday. Casse said that, although he originally thought he’d send Catch a Glimpse to Ocala for sometime off, he may change his mind.
“Now I am changing my mind a little bit,” Casse said. “She’s still not going to run anytime soon, but I may send her to South Florida and just rest her a little bit there. I am not so sure how she’ll do at the farm. Some horses don’t like that type of rest, so I’m still thinking about it. She may go to Palm Meadows and just chill in the sun.”
