A near 8-1 chance for a first-level allowance over this course and trip July 13, the homebred overcame an awkward draw to win clear and was the 3-5 jolly to maintain the winning streak here.
Racing as a team inside of second favorite and recent Dade Park Dash Stakes hero Troubleshooting (Not This Time) in the second flight, Litigation was given the hurry-up by Mario Gutierrez to secure a three-wide run on the swing for home while keeping his chief market rival to his outside. It was a line of four at the head of the lane, as Dade Park Dash fourth Star's Image (Caravaggio) railed through, and though he looked all over destined for a runner-up effort when Troubleshooting struck the front just inside the furlong pole, Litigation counterpunched and was narrowly best in the finish.
