A field of 10 drew Monday for Saturday's $1 million GIII Delta Downs Jackpot, headlined by GII Saratoga Special winner and recent GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile fourth Exaggerator (Curlin). The Big Chief Racing colorbearer, who will carry 122 lbs., will break from the nine hole and was made the 2-1 morning-line favorite. Exaggerator covered five panels in 1:00 2/5 in his most recent work at Santa Anita Nov. 14. Dennis Drazin homebred Sunny Ridge (Holy Bull) also looms large in this field. The New Jersey-bred gelding took Monmouth's Sapling S. Sept. 6 and was recently second behind Greenpointcrusader (Bernardini) in the GI Champagne S. at Belmont Oct. 3. Trainer Doug O'Neill, who won the 2012 edition of this race with Goldencents, has Found Money (Square Eddie) entered this year. The Reddam Racing homebred, who was victorious in June's Santa Anita Juvenile S., was most recently second in both Del Mar's restricted I'm Smokin S. and the Golden State Juvenile S. Oct. 30. Whitmore (Pleasantly Perfect) will take a chance in this step up in class. The Ron Moquett trainee graduated by an impressive 7 1/4 lengths in his Churchill unveiling Nov.6 in his only career start. Memories of Winter (Hard Spun) will also be trying stakes company for the first time. The dark bay won first out over the Oceanport oval Sept. 7 and annexed a Laurel optional claimer Oct. 9. The local Jean Lafitte S. trifecta is also entered in Forevamo (Uncle Mo), Harlan Punch (Harlan's Holiday) and Texas Jambalaya (Notional {Ire}).
