Tattersalls Ireland has confirmed its continued sponsorship of the Treo Eile Showing Pathway Series 2026.
The partnership celebrates a shared commitment to the retraining and development of former racehorses, providing a prestigious platform to showcase their versatility and potential as riding horses beyond the racetrack.
Now entering its fourth year, and with a prize fund of €10,000, the series will feature a number of qualifiers across the country, beginning at Midleton Agricultural Show on May 25th, and culminating at the Tattersalls Ireland July Show on 26th July.
With the diverse range of venues, the series ensures accessibility and opportunities for competitors nationwide.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Tattersalls Ireland CEO Simon Kerins said, “Now in its fourth year, the Showing Pathway Series continues to go from strength to strength and demonstrates the versatility of the thoroughbred beyond the racetrack, which is reflected in the strong number of entries we see at each qualifier. Each year the series produces great stories of retraining and partnership between horse and rider, which we are very proud to support.
“This year we are particularly pleased that the final will take place at the Tattersalls Ireland July Show. Hosting the final on home ground gives us the opportunity to showcase the success of the retraining pathway to a wider audience. We look forward to welcoming the qualifiers to Tattersalls Ireland and making the final a highlight of the July Show.”
Treo Eile Senior Executive Officer Anne O'Connor added, “The Tattersalls Ireland Treo Eile Showing Pathway Series has established its place in the showing calendar and we are thrilled to have Tattersalls Ireland's backing again in 2026. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Tattersalls Ireland for their unwavering commitment to racehorse aftercare, and we eagerly anticipate welcoming both new and returning participants to the shows this year. We thank Tattersalls Ireland for their continued commitment to aftercare and look forward to joining them on this journey around the country this summer, in supporting our Treo Eile community.”
