Dettori won with 100 points with Ryan Moore and Victor Espinoza tying for second with 90 points. Maxime Guyon was third with 88 points.
Four of Dettori's five qualifying Group 1 wins this year came on Cartier Horse of the Year Golden Horn (GB) (Cape Cross {Ire}), including the G1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and G1 Investec Derby. The other was the G1 Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot aboard Undrafted (Purim).
