Luminous Beauty (f, 2, Flameaway–Sly Beauty, by Into Mischief) went to the front and stayed there, taking her second career start with ease while going 5 1/2 furlongs in Saratoga on Thursday afternoon.

She was let go at 21-1 for her career bow going five panels at Churchill Downs on May 15 and she got a little leg-weary late, having to settle for second beaten 1 3/4 lengths by Pierrette (Girvin). Sent off at 4-1 while adding a sixteenth, the $40,000 Fasig-Tipton July yearling purchase broke like a shot and took command over Dinner Party (Not This Time) and favored Margie's Girl (Vekoma) in an opening quarter in :22.2. Still on top through a crisp half mile in :44.88, the Jena Antonucci trainee drew away late to score by 6 1/4 lengths over the 3-2 favorite. Mel Went Home (Life Is Good) rounded out the trifecta. Perpetual (Drain the Click), who was insighted in Thursday's TDN, was scratched.

A full-sister to Panamanian multiple stakes winner Flight Moon, the daughter of Sly Beauty hails from the family of Champion juvenile colt War Pass (Cherokee Run) in addition to Grade I winner Oath (Known Fact). The graded stakes placed mare produced a colt by Gunite in 2025.
