Top Clearance Rate At Dubai Sale

Monday Dec. 28 in Dubai saw the ERA Racing In Dubai Sale take place. The auction was a success with all 49 lots changing hands for a total of AED8,520,000 (US$ 2,246,536) with an average of AED173,878 (US$47,339). Top price on the day was lot 42 Untold Secret (GB) (Shamardal), formerly trained in France by Andre Fabre and a winner and stakes placed in 2015 when second in the G2 Prix Greffulhe to Sumbal (Ire) (Danehill Dancer {Ire}). The 3-year-old, who ran in the Godolphin colors, was purchased by Saleem Rashid Bin Ghadayer for AED675,000 (US$183,773). Another that sold well was lot 32 Midlander (Ire) (Shamardal), a six-time winner when trained by Mark Johnston. The 95 rated 3-year-old colt was bought by Satish Seemar for AED600,000 (US$163,354).
