Lady Sheila Stable's La Verdad (Yes It's True) has been crowned Eclipse Champion Female Sprinter, narrowly besting GI Breeders' Cup F/M Sprint winner Wavell Avenue (Harlington). Second in that race, La Verdad was victorious in the GII Gallant Bloom H.
