Whatever happened in the GII Lambholm South Tampa Bay Derby happened. Brody's Cause didn't run a step that day but may have shown his true colors when winning the GI Toyota Blue Grass S. in an impressive effort. His three best races (also the GI Claiborne Breeders' Futurity and a third-place finish in the GI Sentient Jet Breeders' Cup Juvenile) have all come at Keeneland, so he's getting a reputation as a horse for that course. But he is also one-for-one at Churchill, having broken his maiden there in September.
