TIGER BLOOD (c, 3, Cowtown Cat–Sarah Cataldo, by Smarty Jones) proved that his 9 1/4-length debut win going six panels here Jan. 30–good for a 91 Beyer Speed figure–was no fluke and delivered in emphatic fashion as the 3-5 favorite Sunday. The chestnut emerged from the gate in good order and assumed position stalking from second well off the fence as a rival sped through an opening quarter in :22.97. Tiger Blood pounced shortly thereafter, drawing clear to win with complete authority, crossing the wire 5 1/2 lengths in front of Lookin for a Kiss (Lookin At Lucky), who came into this test off a debut victory at Gulfstream Park Feb. 6. The winner's dam is a half-sister to GII Pennsylvania Derby winner Love of Money (Not For Love). Sales History: $4,500 Ylg '14 OBSAUG. Lifetime Record: 2-2-0-0, $28,000.
