Jimmy Jerkens sends out first-time starter SAHARAN (Desert Party) for Paul and Philip Tackett. Bred by the former, the bay is out of the stakes-placed mare Golden Artemis (Malibu Moon) and is a half-sister to 'TDN Rising Star' and GI Darley Alcibiades S. victress My Conquestadory (Artie Schiller). Conquest Serenade (Unbridled's Song) could make some noise for Conquest Stables and trainer Mark Casse. The $350,000 KEESEP yearling purchase is a half-sister to Canadian Horse of the Year, MGSW and MGISP Fatal Bullet (Red Bullet), who ran second in the GI Breeders' Cup Sprint. Click for TJCIS PPs.
