Uncle Mo Colt Brings Seven Figures at OBSMAR

Updated: March 15, 2016 at 5:19 pm

A son of last year's top freshman sire Uncle Mo, catalogued as Hip 245, was the first to reach seven figures when selling to Mike Repole, who campaigned his Eclipse-winning sire, and Coolmore, who stands Uncle Mo at their Ashford Stud, for $1.3m during the opening session of OBS March. Bred by Sierra Farms, the dark bay is out of SW & GISP Setareh (Sky Classic) and breezed a furlong in :10.1 during the under tack show last week. Consignor Cary Frommer, Agent II, picked up this colt for just $150,000 at last year's Keeneland September sale.
