Japan's Horse Of The Year Maurice (Jpn) (Screen Hero {Jpn}) has recovered from a minor setback that ruled him out of the G1 Dubai Turf next weekend and is now being trained for a tilt at the G1 Champions Mile at Sha Tin May 1. The triple Group 1 winner was last seen in competitive action over the same course and trip when winning the G1 Longines Hong Kong Mile in December under Ryan Moore. With Moore on duty at Newmarket at the Guineas meeting the same weekend connections have called upon the services of Joao Moreira to partner the 5-year-old for the first time.
