A very well-bred group of maiden fillies meet up here, with Conquest Stables' CONQUEST SERENADE (Unbridled's Song) likely the horse to beat of the ones who have run. The gray filly broke outwardly at the start of her Mar. 13 unveiling at Gulfstream, but showed good speed thereafter, dueling the 8-5 favorite into submission before getting passed over the top by subsequent GII Gulfstream Park Oaks S. heroine Go Maggie Go (Ghostzapper). Janis Whitham homebred Walkabout (Stroll) is a half-sister to MGISW Fort Larned (E Dubai) whose second dam is two-time champion older mare Bayakoa (Arg) (Consultant's Bid). The Ian Wilkes trainee passed eight horses in the stretch to be third at 37-1 in her Nov. 14 debut at Churchill and figures to move forward off that race with an additional furlong to work here. Nancy S. Dillman runs a half-sister to Horse of the Year and champion older mare Havre de Grace (Saint Liam) in second-timer Mademoiselle Coco (Medaglia d'Oro). The Larry Jones charge did little running when seventh in her Feb. 20 career bow. Shug McGaughey debuts Robert S. Evans homebred Realistic (Tapit), a half-sister to MGSW American Lion (Tiznow). Her second dam is GISW City Band (Carson City). Ramona S. Bass and Cheyenne Stables send out debutante Girl Talk (Medaglia d'Oro), a $390,000 Keeneland September yearling buy out of MGSW One Caroline (Unbridled's Song). The bay filly has been working sharply for Kiaran McLaughlin at Palm Meadows, including a :47 4/5 half-mile from the gate Apr. 1. TJCIS PPs

'TDN Rising Star' LIMITLESS (Discreet Cat) returns in this one-other-than allowance off a dominant first-out maiden score at Fair Grounds Mar. 17. A daughter of GSW Position Limit (Bellamy Road), the $37,000 Keeneland September yearling purchase blasted out of the gate at even-money and led clear at every call en route to a 4 1/4-length romp. Owned by Kent Spellman, Bret Jones and Head of Plains Partners, she looks to be the controlling speed again, but must navigate another furlong-plus in this Beard Course test. Several more first-out winners will line up, including StarLadies Racing's Firsthand Report (Blame">Blame), who showed speed and tenacity to earn a half-length victory in her Feb. 10 debut at Gulfstream for Todd Pletcher. Formby (Scat Daddy) and Lough Ness (Quality Road) will also aim to start their careers with consecutive successes. TJCIS PPs —Joe Bianca
