With Yankee Rose (Aus) (All American {Aus}) having provided a timely advertisement for the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale when scorching home in the G1 Inglis Sires' Produce S. at Randwick last Saturday, the catalogue for Book Two of the Classic Yearling Sale has now been made available online.
A total of 101 yearlings have been assembled for the sale on Friday, May 6, while the 206 entries for the HTBA Scone Yearling Sale on Sunday, May 15 have also been revealed.
Yankee Rose was purchased from last year's Classic Sale by Darby Racing for just A$10,000 and has earned her syndicate of owners A$1.4 million this season thanks largely to last weekend's Group 1 win and her runner-up finish to Capitalist (Aus) (Written Tycoon {Aus}) in the G1 Golden Slipper.
Reductions by Gooree Park Stud and Think Big Stud has led to sizeable drafts from each in Book Two, while the HTBA Scone Yearling Sale will feature a Duporth (Aus) half-sister to this season's G1 Blue Diamond S. winner Extreme Choice, who is to be offered by Bell River Thoroughbreds as lot 83.
All yearlings offered at the 2016 Inglis Select Yearling Sales are eligible for the A$5 million Inglis Race Series. Catalogues can be viewed online at www.inglis.com.au.
