Apprentice jockey Kei Chiong collected four wins at Sha Tin Racecourse Sunday, the highest total ever recorded by a female jockey in Hong Kong and also the most by any of the 10-pound claimers in Hong Kong in the last 10 years. Chiong's mounts crossed the finish line first in races two (Friends Forever {NZ}), four (Supreme Flight {Ire}), six (Gallant Rock {Aus}), eight (McQueen {NZ}), for three different trainers. For the season, the 23-year-old, who began her local career in September, has wracked up 13 wins. Chiong rode 44 winners from over 500 mounts in New Zealand. The previous 10-pound claimer to accomplish the feat was Keith Yeung at Happy Valley Nov. 1, 2009.
