European champion 2-year-old filly Minding (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) heads 61 entries for the G1 Investec Oaks at the race's initial entry stage. Minding, the winner of last year's G1 Moyglare Stud S. and G1 Dubai Fillies' Mile, is the 4-1 favourite for the June 3 Classic, with stablemate Ballydoyle (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) second in the betting at 10-1. Their trainer, Aidan O'Brien, has 16 entries in the Oaks.
Jon Kelly's Beautiful Morning (GB) (Galileo {Ire}), the first foal out of Date With Destiny (Ire) (George Washington {Ire}) and the winner of York's Convivial Maiden last summer, sits at 20-1 alongside the likes of the John Gosden-trained So Mi Dar (Dubawi {Ire}), a daughter of Group 1 winner Dar Re Mi (GB) (Singspiel {Ire}) who won her lone outing at Windsor last summer.
American trainer Kenny McPeek has entered the GII Pocahontas S. winner and dual Grade I-placed Dothraki Queen (Pure Prize), who also holds an entry for the G1 Qipco 1000 Guineas May 1.
