Inglis To Auction Nominations To Written Tycoon

Capitalist Magic Millions

Inglis has announced that it will auction five nominations for the 2016 breeding season to Written Tycoon (Aus) (Iglesia {Aus}) over the coming five weeks, starting on May 23.

The Woodside Park Stud stallion's book closed just days after his 2016 fee was announced at A$49,500 off the back of a season which has included 'TDN Rising Star' and G1 Golden Slipper hero Capitalist (Aus) and G1 Manawatu Sires' Produce S. winner Luna Rossa (NZ) among Written Tycoon's eight stakes winners.

“We have been overwhelmed with applications from many of the best breeders wanting to send some of the very best mares in the country to Written Tycoon,” said Matt Tillett of Woodside Park Stud. “The only thing we haven't enjoyed is saying no to breeders we want to get involved, but hopefully this will give those who have missed out another opportunity.”

Auctioned without reserve under the stud's standard payment terms, the first nomination will come under the hammer from May 23 and will close at 7:00 p.m. local time on May 27. The remaining nominations will be sold at weekly intervals thereafter, with bidding conducted via registered users of the Inglis 'Everyday Auction' platform.
