His rivals include Godolphin's fellow newcomer Thunder Snow (Ire) (Helmet {Aus}), who is kin to three black-type winners including G1 1000 Guineas and G1 Fillies' Mile placegetter Ihtimal (Ire) (Shamardal). Other notable runners include Juddmonte's Hyde Park (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}), who is out of a half-sister to MG1SW Flintshire (GB) (Dansili {GB}), from the John Gosden stable.
Godolphin's ISTIQLAAL (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}) is a son of the 2001 G2 Sun Chariot S. victress Independence (GB) (Selkirk) and is thus a full-brother to the 2009 G2 Great Voltigeur S winner and G1 St Leger third Monitor Closely (Ire), and half to the 2008 G1 Eclipse S.-winning sire Mount Nelson (GB) (Rock of Gibraltar {Ire}). The 250,000gns Tattersalls Craven breezer faces eight rivals representing the Charlie Appleby yard in this unveiling.
ELRAAZY (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}), a John Gosden trainee, is out of 'TDN Rising Star' and 2005 G1 Epsom Oaks heroine Eswarah (GB) (Unfuwain) and is thus a half-sister to the 2011 G1 1000 Guineas third Firdaws (Mr. Greeley). Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum's colourbearer faces a cast of 13 in this unveiling, including Al Shaqab Racing's Haddajah (Ire) (Sea the Stars {Ire}), a once-raced Sir Michael Stoute-trained daughter of the 2005 G1 Moyglare Stud S and 2006 G1 Irish 1000 Guineas placegetter Ardbrae Lady (GB) (Overbury {Ire}).
