Tattersalls Ireland hosted a mixed sale in Ascot on Tuesday consisting of flat and national hunt horses-in-training, point to pointers, 2-year-olds and breeding stock. 135 lots sold for an aggregate of £866,200 and an average of £6,464. Top price for the day's trade was for lot 102, the Mick Channon trained 7-year-old steeplechaser Knock House (Ire) (Old Vic {GB}) who was knocked down to Donald McCain for £110,000. Godolphin offered a number of lots and one that found a new home was lot 77 Southern States (GB) (Medaglia D'Oro), bought by Lydia Richards for £21,000.
