Arqana have announced the launch of the first French Expo dedicated to the thoroughbred industry. The event, titled Galop Expo will take place in Deauville October 18-20 a time that coincides with Arqana's October Yearling Sale and also racing at Deauville. A specific focus will be placed on employment and innovation, two topics that are particularly important in the eyes of Arqana and its partners. Conferences and debates will also be organised during the Expo, with the detailed program still being formulated. Arqana's President Eric Hoyeau commented, “Arqana strives to provide a strong support to the thoroughbred industry as a whole which represents a major source of growth and employment in many rural areas including Normandy. In an environment where innovation is key to remaining competitive, Galop Expo's mission is to become a crossroads for all activities and generate contacts that will prove beneficial to all the represented businesses.”
