Magic Millions Topper Sets New Record

Group 1 producer Listen Here (Aus) (Elusive Quality) (lot 1375) set a record for the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale when selling for A$3.4 million on Friday to China Horse Club and Bruce Perry, the latter on behalf of Cressfield. The 11-year-old Listen Here has produced two group winners from her first two foals to race: the Group 2-winning sprinter and young Newgate stallion Deep Field (Aus) (Northern Meteor {Aus}) and his full-brother, the G1 Caulfield Guineas winner Shooting To Win (Aus). She was sold in foal to Medaglia d'Oro.
