From the first crop of Twirling Candy, Viren's Army was a $65,000 Keeneland November weanling, $35,000 Fasig-Tipton July yearling and was acquired by Peter and Ross Doyle Bloodstock for €115,000 as a Tattersalls Ireland September yearling later that year.
