Juddmonte's Full Mast (Mizzen Mast) looks to build on a successful Stateside unveiling as he heads to Canada for Woodbine's GII King Edward S. Saturday. Conditioned in France by Christiane Head-Maarek to begin his career, the homebred was put up to first with the DQ of Gleneagles (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) in Longchamp's G1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere as a juvenile in October of 2014, and was beaten only a neck in Chantilly's G3 Prix Paul de Moussac the following June. Far back at 28-10 in last July's G1 Prix Jean Prat, he resurfaced with first-time Lasix to take a grassy seven-furlong Belmont optional claimer for conditioner Bill Mott under confident handling June 5. 'TDN Rising Star' Smokem Kitten (Kitten's Joy) cruised first out at Gulfstream in December of 2014, but went missing for some 13 months after a speed-and-fade run in the GIII Dania Beach S. A rank seventh back in Hallandale this Valentine's Day, he figured it all out again with a smashing 5 1/2-length romp Mar. 20, and controlled the pace box to wire for a head success in the GIII Miami Mile Apr. 30. Runner-up Middleburg (Lemon Drop Kid) came back to annex Belmont's GIII Red Bank S. June 5. Eight-year-old veteran Dimension (GB) (Medicean {GB}) has outrun his odds on a couple of occasions over this E. P. Taylor turf course. He was a 10-1 winner of the GII Play the King S. three years ago, and snapped a six-race off-the-board streak last time at 20-1 in the GII Connaught Cup going a furlong shorter here June 5.
