A bay colt foal by Deep Impact (Jpn) out of G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches winner Elusive Wave (Ire) (Elusive City) (lot 328) established a new high mark at the JRHA Select Sale when selling to Hajime Satomi for ¥280,000,000 early in the foal session on Tuesday. Coolmore's MV Magnier was the underbidder on the half-brother to the stakes-placed Brandybend (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}).
