Fasig-Tipton has catalogued 306 yearlings for its NY Bred Yearlings Sale, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 13 and 14, the sales company announced Wednesday. Sessions will begin each evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Humphrey S. Finney Pavilion in Saratoga Springs, New York.
“This catalogue reflects the quality of the New York Bred program, which will offer $60 million in purses, incentives, and awards again in 2016,” said Fasig-Tipton President Boyd Browning. “Racing opportunities for New York Breds are among the best in the nation, and at the N.Y. Bred Sale, buyers will find the type of horses that will take them to the heights of the program and beyond.”
The sale is currently a top-three ranked sale by average earnings per starter; percentage of winners sold with earnings of more than $150,000; and percentage of stakes winners from yearlings sold. The full catalogue can be found online. Print catalogues are available from all Fasig-Tipton offices.
