War Front

2nd-DMR, $63K, Msw, 2yo, 1mT, 7:30 p.m. EDT

LNJ Foxwoods went to $800,000–the highest price of any newly turned yearling at Keeneland's 2015 January Horses of All Ages Sale–to secure UPFRONT (War Front), and the bay is set to make her career debut in this heat. The filly passed through the sales ring just after her dam, MGSW & G1SP Up (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) sold for $2.2 million in foal to War Front, and has since been transferred to the care of Hall of Fame trainer Richard Mandella. The aptly named juvenile posted four consecutive five-panel works over the local main track in recent weeks and has been tabbed at a morning line quote of 5-1. TJCIS PPs
