+ZERO ZEE (f, 2, High Cotton–Vindy City {SW, $151,465}, by Vindication) continued a hot run for his owner with a 19-1 upset in this debut. Tracking the pace from fifth, about four lengths off a strong :21.67 quarter-mile, the dark bay tipped into the six path at the top of the lane and closed resolutely to take the lead approaching the furlong grounds. Challenged to her inside by Malibu Stella (Malibu Moon), Zero Zee held sway to score by three-quarters of a length. This was the fourth winner at the meet for Schera, who had another 2-year-old turf sprint winner in yesterday's second race with trainer Carlos Martin. The victress's dam was a stakes-winning sprinter and is a half to SW/GSP Lady Chace (Tiznow) and GISP Big Tiz (Tiznow). Her second dam is a half to GSW/GISP sprinters Bahamian Squall (Gone West) and Apriority (Grand Slam).
