+FOR HONOR (f, 2, To Honor and Serve–Unspoken Fur, by Empire Maker), a lightly regarded 23-1 shot in this unveiling, bopped out alertly before settling just off the pace. She found a seam to run through at the top of the stretch and powered to the lead and drew clear to score by 3 3/4 lengths. Momentiempo (Medaglia d'Oro) was second. For Honor brought $120,000 as a KEESEP yearling and sold for $200,000 after working a furlong in :10 2/5 at this year's OBS March sale. She became the fourth winner for her freshman sire (by Bernardini). Unspoken Fur, a daughter of MGISW Spoken Fur (Notebook), produced a colt by To Honor and Serve in 2015, a filly by that Gainesway sire in 2016 and was bred back to Karakontie (Jpn). Spoken Fur is a half to MGSW Unbridled's Note (Unbridled's Song). Click for the Equibase.com chart or VIDEO, sponsored by Fasig-Tipton. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $49,800.
