Big Field Set for Pocahontas

Dream Dancing | Sarah Andrew

With the 5-2 morning-line favorite making her first attempt on dirt, Saturday's GII Pocahontas S. has a pretty wide-open feel to it as 10 fillies seek a free trip to the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies at Santa Anita.

John Oxley homebred Dream Dancing (Tapit), produced by an unraced daughter of millionaire Beautiful Pleasure, makes the surface switch following a smart maiden win going two turns over the Saratoga lawn Aug. 28. She was a distant second behind subsequent P.G. Johnson heroine and 'TDN Rising Star' Coasted (Tizway) in her Saratoga unveiling Aug. 7.

The speedy second choice Bling On the Music (Too Much Bling) will make her first start around two turns after airing in the Gold Rush Futurity S. at Arapahoe Aug. 14.

Ever So Clever (Medaglia d'Oro), tabbed as a 'TDN Rising Star' off an impressive debut win in Louisville July 1, will look to get back on track after finishing a flat fifth in Saratoga's GII Adirondack S. Aug. 19.
