The first breeze-up session for the Oct. 11 and 12 Magic Millions Gold Coast 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale was held at the Gold Coast Turf Club Monday. Out of the 171 juveniles who breezed 200 metres, lot 346, a colt by Star Witness (Aus) out of High Aspirations (Aus) (Exceed And Excel {Aus}), a half-sister to and consigned by Washpool Lodge, recorded the fastest time of :10.28 for the distance.
“It was a very successful session of breeze-ups,” said Magic Millions Managing Director Vin Cox. “All vendors and their staff should be congratulated on the presentation and efforts of their 2-year-olds. The sale is a proven source of racetrack stars and only last night in Singapore, the A$115,000 2-Year-Old in Training Sale purchase Twickenham (Aus) (Artie Schiller) won the feature black-type event, the Committee's Prize.”
