The prospect of soft ground has tempted Adrian Keatley to run Jet Setting (Ire) (Fast Company {Ire}) in the G3 Coolmore Stud Home Of Champions Concorde S. at Tipperary on Sunday. The County Kildare trainer had been considering races at Ascot and Newmarket in the near future for his G1 Irish 1000 Guineas heroine, but is opting to keep her nearer home due to the prevailing weather conditions. Jet Setting, who lowered the colours of Minding (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) in the fillies' Classic at The Curragh in May, finished sixth behind Alice Springs (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) in the G1 Matron S. at Leopardstown on her first outing since occupying the same position in the G1 Coronation S. at Royal Ascot, from which she returned home sick. Keatley is hoping the drop down to Group 3 company will see his stable star regain the winning thread.
“She's been working well and it looks like she'll be going to Tipperary,” he said. “The ground is good over in England at the minute, while it Tipperary it was reported as heavy. We'll have to see what the weather does, but I can't see it being no better than soft at Tipperary on Sunday, so we'll go there.”
