Sobetsu (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) will bid to give trainer Charlie Appleby his second Group 1 winner inside a week when contesting the G1 Dubai Fillies' Mile at Newmarket on Friday. Appleby, who landed the G1 Marcel Boussac on Sunday with Wuheida (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}), has declared the daughter of Dubawi in the final field of eight for the feature contest on the first day of the Future Champions Festival, as she bids to back up her impressive maiden success over course and distance last month.
Aidan O'Brien, trainer of last year's winner Minding (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), will rely on Rhododendron (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) and Hydrangea (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) to give him a fifth victory in the race and third in succession having also sent out 2014 winner Together Forever (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}).
Spatial (GB) (New Approach {Ire}) will attempt to give Sir Michael Stoute his first Fillies' Mile since that of Red Bloom (GB) (Selkirk) in 2003, who was owned, like his representative in this year's renewal, by Cheveley Park Stud.
The Ralph Beckett-trained Rich Legacy (Ire) (Holy Roman Emperor {Ire}) steps up to the top table for the first time having captured the G2 May Hill at Doncaster last time out, while Easy Victory (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}), from the yard of Saeed bin Suroor, bids to bounce back from a lacklustre effort in a Group 3 at the July Course in August.
The field is completed by the Hugo Palmer-trained Haydock maiden scorer Fleabiscuit (Ire) (High Chaparral {Ire}) and Urban Fox (GB) (Foxwedge {Aus}) for James Tate.
