After purchasing a Dansili (GB) filly out of 2012 G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches heroine Beauty Parlour (GB) (Deep Impact {Jpn}) for €450,000 during the foal section of the the Goffs November Sale and just a few minutes after giving €950,000 for the Galileo (Ire) mare Amerique (Ire), Peter Brant emerged the winning bidder on Beauty Parlour herself with a final bid of €1.6 million. The action opened with a bid of €200,000, climbed to €250,000 and was hoisted to €1 million on the next salvo. It increased in €100,000 increments before Brant made his winning offer. Offered in foal to Kingman (GB) as part of the Wildenstein Dispersal, Beauty Parlour (hip 1431) is also the dam of the yearling colt Being There (Fr) (Dubawi {Ire}), who fetched a final bid of €1.4 million from John Ferguson at this year's Goffs Orby Sale. The Castlebridge Consignment is handing the Wildenstein horses. Beauty Parlour hails from the extended female family of champion Might and Power (NZ) and Hong Kong champion Lucky Owners (NZ).
