Ms Locust Point made every pole a winning one and romped without a challenge as the favorite in the Gin Talking S. at Laurel.
Taking all the money first out Oct. 16 at Parx, the chestnut set a fast pace before settling for second, then graduated by open lengths in Bensalem Nov. 27. Off as the heavy chalk in this stakes debut, Ms Locust Point broke alertly and quickly opened up on the field, running loose through a :22.67 quarter. Continuing on an uncontested lead through a :45.62 half, she never had an anxious moment in the lane, coasting home well to the good of Star Super (Super Saver), who was clearly second-best.
The victress is the third stakes winner for her freshman sire (by Mineshaft). She has a yearling full-brother named Thunder's Honor and a weanling half-brother by Cairo Prince. Whisper Number was bred to Wicked Strong in 2016. Click for the Equibase.com chart or VIDEO, sponsored by Fasig-Tipton.
