HONEY JADE (Harlan's Holiday) stretches out to the metric mile for this second try. A $130K FTKJUL graduate, the New York-bred filly was knocked down to bloodstock agent John McCormack from the Eddie Woods consignment for $300K at the Fasig-Tipton Florida Sale. She got her career off on a positive note with a good third-place effort over a grassy 1200m at Hanshin Dec. 17. The dark bay is out of Hard Hat (Hard Spun), a half-sister to GISW Albert the Great (Go For Gin) and the SWs Watch the Bird (Rahy) and Sheer Bliss (Relaunch).
