Shortly before the first crop of foals by the four time Group 1 winner Muhaarar (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}) are due to arrive into the world Shadwell have announced details of some of the exciting mares that are due to visit the stallion during his second season at stud. They are headed by the stud's own Classic winner Taghrooda (GB) (Sea The Stars {Ire}) who is one of eleven mares that Sheikh Hamdan is sending to Muhaarar. Some interesting outside mares also booked into the former champion sprinter include Tarfah (Kingmambo), the dam of Camelot (GB) (Montjeu {Ire}); Danetime Out (Ire) (Danetime {Ire}), the dam of both Toormore (Ire) (Arakan) and Estidhkaar (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}) and Artisia (Ire) (Peintre Celebre), the dam of Red Cadeaux (GB) (Cadeaux Genereux {GB}). “We worked very hard to get Muhaarar an excellent second book of mares in 2017 and we are very pleased with the result,” said Shadwell's Richard Lancaster. “He has again been supported strongly by Shadwell and Godolphin as well as some very prominent owner and commercial breeders and we are very thankful for their continued support,” he added. Muhaarar will stand for the unchanged fee of £30,000 in 2017.
