Racing Welfare's Best Turned Out, supported by Betfair, will see the charity award the BTO prize in the G3 Palace House S. at Newmarket on Saturday, June 6th, the charity announced on Sunday. The race has been renamed the G3 Betfair Supports Racing Welfare Palace House S. in honour of the initiative. Betfair, Betway Join Qipco As Guineas Meeting Sponsors

Bookmakers Betfair and Betway are among the sponsors to join QIPCO in supporting Newmarket's four-day Guineas Festival on June 4 to 7. QIPCO remains the meeting's title sponsor and supports a variety of races over the weekend including the G1 2000 and G1 1000 Guineas. Betfair will support the additional races on the Saturday and Sunday cards, while Betway sponsors the Thursday and Friday cards. Flutter, Stars Group Merge

Gaming conglomerate Flutter-parent company of Paddy Power, Betfair and FanDuel-has purchased all shares in The Stars Group, owner of Sky Bet. Racing Post reports the two companies had a £10.5-billion combined market value at the time the deal was done. The companies' combined annual revenues in 2018 would have totalled £3.8-billion, making it the world's largest online betting and gaming operator.
