Tattersalls Book 1 Bonus Boosted to £25,000

The Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus will be boosted from £20,000 to £25,000, covering all yearlings catalogued for this year's sale.  The popular scheme, which was launched in 2015, has already paid out more than £7.5 million in bonus prize-money to owners racing eligible horses in Britain and Ireland. Tattersalls Adds Book 1 Bonus Opportunities

In order to compensate for the lack of opportunities in the revised racing programme, Tattersalls has added to its £25,000 Book 1 Bonus Scheme. Under the existing scheme, eligible Book 1 graduates take home a £25,000 bonus for wins in Class 2, 3, or 4 maidens or novice races. However, under the new 2020 race programme all 2-year-old maiden and novice races have been reclassified as Class 5, therefore all Class 5 maiden and novice races will for the time being qualify for the bonus, with all horses signed up...
