The third annual Renaissance Awards, a collaborative effort between the Maryland Horse Breeders Association, Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association and Maryland Jockey Club, which recognizes excellence in Thoroughbred racing and breeding in Maryland in the past year, was held Tuesday evening, Feb. 11, at the Guinness Open Gate Brewery. Tickets for the 2020 Breeders' Cup World Championships will go on sale to the public Mar. 9 at 9:00 a.m. EST, the Breeders' Cup announced Tuesday. Four-time champion Beholder (Henny Hughes) delivered a filly by War Front Wednesday night at Spendthrift Farm in Lexington. "Beholder foaled a very nice War Front filly last night on the farm," confirmed Ned Toffey, General Manager at Spendthrift.
