Jockey Ryan Moore and noted owner/breeder Kirsten Rausing have both been named in the King's Birthday Honours List. Coolmore/Ballydoyle's retained rider, Moore has been awarded an MBE for his services to racing and British sport. He was aboard Queen Elizabeth II's Estimate (Monsun) when the filly landed the G1 Gold Cup in 2013. Currently he has ridden 92 Royal Ascot winners and also has 18 British Classic victories. British Horseracing Authority Chair, Annamarie Phelps, CBE, will not seek a second term in the role and will step down from the BHA Board at the conclusion of her term in May. Phelps will be replaced by BHA Independent Non-Executive Director, Joe Saumarez Smith. He will begin his new role once Phelp's term is up and will stay in that position until the end of his own term in September of 2023.
