New York Race Track Chaplaincy Launches Matching Gift Campaign for Food Pantry

The New York Race Track Chaplaincy of America has launched a matching gift drive for its food pantry that will benefit backstretch workers at Belmont Park as they deal with the many challenges posed by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Donations to the food pantry made between now and June 6 will be matched up to $25,000 by a member of the New York Racing Association (NYRA) Board of Directors. Nourish Lexington Initiative Will Employ Displaced Food Service Workers to Feed Lexington Families in need

Nourish Lexington, an initiative to utilize hospitality workers recently unemployed due to the COVID-19 closings as well as other community food assets to provide prepared meals to those who need immediate access to food, has been created by several Central Kentucky community organizations, including Keeneland. Donations to Jockey Club Safety Net Program to Go to COVID-19 Relief

The Jockey Club Safety Net Foundation is calling for donations to assist backstretch workers affected by the COVID-19 outbreak across the United States. All donations to the foundation will be designated for COVID-19 relief until further notice. The foundation's current priority is addressing the immediate need to stock food pantries at racetracks around the country, and it is coordinating with the Race Track Chaplaincy of America in this effort. Au-Dela des Pistes Holds General Assembly

The 2019 General Assembly of Au-Dela des Pistes, the equine charity that works for the promotion and retaining of Thoroughbred horses in France, was held at the Salon Katko at Chantilly's training centre last Friday, Au-Dela des Pistes announced on Tuesday. Fourteen of the 24 retraining establishments  referenced by the charity were in attendance at the assembly, which included a visit to Fabrice Chappet's stable and watching morning training on the Lions training track.
