Although all-sources handle for Derby Week rose to a new record of $487 million--an amount increased by $13 million (3%) from the record set in 2025--handle on Saturday's GI Kentucky Derby Day program was $340 million, down $9 million from the 2025 record of $349 million. Kentucky Derby Winner Mage Among Those Pointing Towards Preakness

Gustavo Delgado Jr., son of and assistant to trainer Gustavo Delgado, said GI Kentucky Derby winner Mage (Good Magic) has shown all the right signs following his victory in Saturday's race and will run in the GI Preakness S.
